Dead Pedophile Queenpin show 4/30

Radio Volta was down last Sunday night, due to tech reasons. Volta expects to be able to get it up by this coming Sunday, so the postponed themed-show Dead Pedophile Queenpin- One Year Later/ Rev. Bookburn's Birthday Show should air on April 30.

Since our last episode: we saw V For Vendetta on the Reverend's birthday. Most reviews of this film are bullshit. This release is at least five stars and is recommended to all Bookburners. We also saw the Bewitched movie. Believe me, the Rev. was one of the ultimate fans of the Bewitched show and did not want to see it messed with. The film was actually funny and entertaining.

In addition to the classics Jesus Will Survive and Farting Preacher (Rev. Robert Tilton) at video.google.com, we found a source for another extremely funny classic from 1988: The Reagans Speak Out On Drugs (7 minutes). You'll probably want to show this to all of your friends. It's fantastic for parties. www.diymedia.net/collage/truth-reagan.htm

A big thank you to the Rolling Stones for dissing W. Bush and his henchpersons. The Stones refused to give up their luxury suites so that Bush and co. could stomp in. This was mostly covered in the British press. Fox and most of the American corporate media were too busy rubbing their faces in Bush's asscrack. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006180696,00.html

There are multiple music releases that will be available very soon that finally provide a real response to the Bush regime nightmare. Neil Young's Living With War release sounds like a must-hear, especially the Let's Impeach The President track. Pearl Jam also plans to release an appropriate response soon. And, as always, in the underground music scenes, there's an endless supply of tunes that are not only great, but also put out the most urgent messages.

Here's another must-see: I think John Lennon would be more proud of this
re-making of his incredible song, than the bullshit that saturates the
market in the name of his peers and former band....

More entertainment to hold you over until the next show:

From the stage: Bush Is Bad- The Musical. This is far better than Capitol Steps, the Tom Lehrer impersonator named
Mark Russell, or similar. This is quite funny.

Robert Greenwald is working on yet another incredible film: Iraq For Sale. In addition to the new film about Tom D-Layed Hammer Delay, Greenwald is planning to shine a rare spotlight of reality on the war-profiteers. http://iraqforsale.org/

Dr. Suzy has issued another classic blog offering regarding Iraq For Sale, and the feedback portion includes the Reverend's response: www.drsusanblock.com/blog/

Right-wing columnist and blogger Michelle Malkin published the personal contact information of young students who organized a peaceful anti-war protest. Malkin's action resulted in the students receiving a tidal wave of harassment and death threats.

Speaking of harassment, multiple people from the American Christian Taliban are screaming JI-HAD at Glamour magazine for publishing very realistic information about women's health and reproductive issues, including the shattering of the ridiculous abortion- breast cancer myth. Penelope Spheeris, possibly the world's worst filmaker, plans to release a film about the late Janis Joplin. She is considering casting Pink for the lead role. Considering Pink's history and recent Dear Mr. President song, that's not too rattling. However, also on the potential casting list is bubble-headed, Bush-complimenting Britney Spears. What could be a deeper dissing of the late Janis Joplin? If that happens, the film will not be worth contributing one penny towards.

Seeking reviews for Spamalot and the film Last Party 2000. If you've never seen the Pass The Ammo film, it is extremely funny and relevant. Some flash for your entertainment: www.bushflash.com.

The Reverend received a good article acknowledging the anniversary of the Christaos Novos massacre. Briefly, it was large-scale murder and torture of Jews in Lisbon during the 1500s, at the hands of the Christian government and foreign soldiers who sailed to join in. Thank you to all who send me informative and/ or entertaining material. Please send links from the source, especially if it's information that someone may want to explore more deeply. There's no link to this piece, but if interested, I'll forward the article to you. email: quayle@sjcdc.org.

Dead Pedophile Queenpin- One Year Later

On the next Reverend Is In show: Dead Pedophile Queenpin- One Year Later. After the death of the Pope and the events around Necrofest 2005, as well as the nostalgia pertaining to the anniversary, we cannot help but ask the question: why should the flocks from the Church of Pedophilia have all the fun? The sub-theme for the show will belatedly be: Rev. Bookburn's Birthday Show. This show will air on April 23.

The newly domesticated Reverend did not do the annual sacred traditional shows Palm and Stroke Sunday and Easter- What Some People Will Do To Get Nailed this year. Some of the material became a part of the Live Nude Fetus show (April 2) as well as the forthcoming show.

The Live Nude Fetus show as a blast. Special thanks to a live guest fetus for agreeing to appear and go into the dancer act, complete with the necessary dancer pole. Holy anti-choice terrorists cheered and tipped with dollar bills. Also it was good to have Father Pavone (of 'Priests For Life') and his 'associate' Janet Morana (of 'Silent No More') checking in, reviewing the fetus dancer, and providing their usual heavy breathing sounds. Silent No More indeed!

Our fetus dancer declined to become involved in the union organizing efforts of dancers. However, if one is interested in learning more about that subject, there is an informative film entitled Live Nude Girls Unite! www.livenudegirlsunite.com.

In case you haven't seen it yet, it is worthwhile and recommended to visit www.priestsgonewild.com. A Bookburner plans to officially launch the site on June 11, but there is already plenty to check out.

Recently seen films: Fog of War (we saw the beginning but it was so riveting that we are eager to see the entirety at least once..please review if you've seen it), Contact, and Local Hero.

The Jesus Will Survive and Farting Preacher 5 (Rev. Robert Tilton) videos remain available at www.video.google.com. They are in the Popular Videos section, but if they become removed one can click Search Video. Farting Preacher 1 was a timeless classic, but was originally over four minutes long. The online version is approx. one minute.

The Reverend reviewed several films at www.us.imdb.com, including: Steal This Movie, JFK, Share The Warmth- An Evening With Bobcat Goldthwait, Chords of Fame, Bob Roberts, and He May Be Dead But He's Still Elvis.

We're looking forward to the forthcoming film about Bush regime criminal Tom Delay www.tomdelaymovie.com. Hopefully, they'll follow up with a film about Abramoff, Libby, Ralph Reed and a few dozen others.

More bloggamy and feedback including the Reverend's at http://www.drsusanblock.com/blog/.

Recent discoveries: www.warnewsradio.org, www.wrct.org, www.fucksouthdakota.com and a prison radio project (although we heard that it's only accessible to holy rollers). Input sought for the Faith-Based Star Wars show, as well as Spy On This!, and Who Would Jesus Do? shows in the near future. We'll also do a themed-show about why there can never be enough humor about George W. Numbnuts Bush.

Happy Great Fuckin' Friday, 420 Day, and Earth Day. Happy belated birthday: Paul Krassner and Lord Cheezus. Thank you Diane Fornbacher and Terry for a great Pre-Palm and Stroke Sunday party. In memorium: Abbie Hoffman. April 12 marked the anniversary of his passing. The Reverend sends healing wishes to Radio Volta's Jim Bear after learning of his serious bike accident.
